A member of the NASLB (National Association of Summer League Baseball), the Central Illinois Collegiate League (CICL) is the oldest major league funded, NCAA sanctioned summer leagues.

For 40 years, it has provided opportunities for young baseball players to reach their goal of playing major league baseball.

Member clubs (Bluff City Bombers, Danville Dans, Decatur Blues, Quincy Gems, Springfield Rifles, & Twin City Stars) provide excellent fields of play from newer award- winning fields, to renovated, historic parks.

CICL membership clubs are required to provide quality coaches -- experience, leadership and patience are primary job qualifications.

Virtually every organization sends major league scouts and scouting supervisors to CICL locations for a thorough evaluation of every player on every team.  Weekly statistics and releases are sent directly to major league scouts.  Stats are also available on the CICL web site at www.ciclbaseball.com.
