Outlook 2002 (Office XP)

In this example, we used username@soltec.net as our example account.
You would put your username in place of the example below.
For example, if your username is chris then you would update chris to be chris@soltec.net

Open Outlook 2002, and then click TOOLS->EMAIL ACCOUNTS

Then select View or change existing e-mail accounts and then click NEXT

Select your mail account, and then click CHANGE

Change the User Name field to be your username@soltec.net

Then, click MORE SETTINGS

Click on the OUTGOING SERVER tab
Make sure My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication is Checked

Then click OK and then NEXT

Click FINISH to apply the changes
