Chick looks into hole

Doris Day is my hero. I sent her some herbal-natural-upscale dog shampoo and flea powder and coat "conditioner". A few years ago I sent her four bags of gourmet dog biscuits, and she wrote me a wonderful thank-you letter. Doris also sent me a very friendly postcard after she received the coat goodies and said she would try them on her dogs. I did a radio show about her and the Animal League's activism on WEFT, which my friend Tanya produced.

I first listened to German lieder at a recital given by one of my voice teachers, and immediately fell in love with it. If you like lieder, you should try to find some recordings of Jan DeGaetani. Another terrific mezzo is Lorraine Hunt—her performance of Dido is my favorite. I also listen to a lot of Joan, Eartha, and Edith. Sammy Davis, Jr. and Vikki Carr are great.

My gardens contain the usual suspects, and indoors I grow orchids and fragrant plants like orange and jasmine trees.

I've stopped recommending movies, because only our neighbors ever take the suggestions.

Lately I've been knitting a lot. If I could collect all the stitches into a single item (including the stitches I've taken out), I could have knit a carpet for the living room.

One could say that I'm interested in art, but I put it in a different page.

I also take Alexander technique lessons and ballet.
